Does Axiom join my meeting as a bot?
No. The Chrome extension captures audio directly from your browser tab using Chrome's native tab capture API. No bot account joins your call and no one else in the meeting can see or hear anything different.
Which platforms are supported?
Google Meet, Zoom (browser), Microsoft Teams (browser), Webex, and Slack Huddles. Any meeting you attend in a Chrome tab can be recorded.
How long does transcription take?
Most recordings are transcribed within 30–90 seconds of stopping the recording, regardless of meeting length. Longer recordings (2h+) may take up to a few minutes.
Is my audio stored permanently?
No. Raw audio is permanently deleted within 24 hours of transcript generation. We retain zero raw media long-term.
Can I share transcripts with my team?
Yes. From the transcript view you can invite team members or generate a shareable link. Access levels (view-only vs. edit) are controlled from Settings → Team.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Dashboard → Settings → Subscription and click "Manage Subscription". You can cancel anytime — you'll retain access until the end of your billing period.
The extension isn't recording — what do I do?
Make sure you're on the meeting tab when you press record (not a different tab). If the issue persists, try removing and re-adding the extension, then sign in again. If that doesn't help, contact us below.
Can I export my transcripts?
Yes — plain text, JSON, and copy-to-clipboard are available from any transcript. More export formats (PDF, DOCX) are on the roadmap.
